Through our platform you select the free tour, indicating the day, time, and number of people. The booking is free and is mainly requested so that we can estimate the group size and organize the visit to our workshop under the best possible conditions.
You go to the indicated meeting point at the agreed time. This information is always included in the vouchers or booking confirmations you receive by email.
Tour
You enjoy the tour while listening to the explanations and stories told by the artisan as you watch their work through live demonstrations of how their craft is carried out today.
Tip
At the end of the tour, each participant gives the artisan the tip they consider fair for their work. In our case, we prefer that this tip becomes a souvenir of your visit to our workshop, by purchasing one of our pieces (there are pieces at all price ranges).
How long does our free tour last?
Our free tour lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, including transportation, since we are located on the outskirts of the city and you need to take urban bus line 33 or have your own vehicle.
What happens if you don’t show up and don’t cancel the activity?
Although booking a free tour is free and does not involve any cost, it is extremely important to be responsible and cancel your booking if you know you won’t be able to attend. Why?
Free tours have a limited number of spots. In this context, some travelers may be left out if these spots are filled. If you then don’t show up, this affects other people who could have joined in your place.
You can cancel your booking from the confirmation email. It’s not a problem if you can’t go, but if that is the case, the sooner you cancel, the better.
How can you support our work?
Since our free tour has no fixed fee, your support is what allows our artisans to earn a living and preserve their traditional craft. There are two main ways you can help:
Leave a Tip
The most common way to show appreciation. Generally, travellers contribute between 5/10/20 euros per person based on their satisfaction.
Take Home a Souvenir
We love it when your contribution becomes a lasting memory! Instead of a traditional tip, we invite you to purchase one of our handcrafted pieces. We have items available at all price ranges.
Payment info: You can support us via Cash or Credit Card directly at the workshop.
How many people can join our free tour?
Free tour groups vary a lot depending on the type, but the general free tour has a maximum of 20 people, divided into two groups of 10 people with one artisan for each group.
